Secure software,
engineered with intent.

I’m Yash — a software developer with a cybersecurity degree. I design and build applications that are fast, maintainable and secure from the first commit — not patched after the breach.

About

Most teams separate the people who build software from the people who secure it. I was trained to do both.

My Software Development Diploma from SAIT gave me a strong foundation in full-stack engineering, databases and agile delivery. My Cybersecurity Degree, also from SAIT, taught me how real systems get attacked — and how to design them so they don't. The result is code that ships quickly and holds up under security.

I care about clear architecture, readable code, automated testing and threat modelling early in the process, when fixing issues is cheapest.

Lab: encryption, live

Type a message and a passphrase. Your browser derives a key and encrypts it with AES-256-GCM — the same standard used by banks and messaging apps. Try a wrong passphrase, or tamper with the ciphertext, and watch the integrity check reject it.

Ready. Nothing leaves your device.

How I work

Based in Calgary but ready to work anywhere.....................................................................................
  1. 01

    Threat model first

Before writing code, I map assets, entry points and likely attackers, so security decisions shape the architecture instead of patching it later.

    → Data-flow diagram · STRIDE risks
  2. 02

    Build with secure defaults

Typed APIs, parameterised queries, least-privilege access and strong authentication are the baseline — not optional extras.

    → Clean, reviewed, documented code
  3. 03

    Verify continuously

Unit and integration tests, static analysis and dependency scanning run in CI on every commit, with manual testing for business-logic flaws.

    → CI pipeline · SAST/DAST reports
  4. 04

    Monitor and respond

Structured logging, alerting and a clear incident plan mean problems are detected early and handled calmly.

    → Dashboards · Runbooks
